Article 1: These general terms and conditions are intended to regulate the relations between the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena", UIC 175212872, and the clients, hereinafter referred to as users/consumers, of the corporate website – https://wed.selenabulgaria.com, hereinafter referred to as "the website".

III. Characteristics of the Online Store
Article 3. The website is accessible at the Internet address https://wed.selenabulgaria.com, through which users have the opportunity to obtain information about the goods/services offered by the website, including the following:
1. To perform lawful actions for browsing the website and using the services for the provision of information;
2. To make electronic statements in connection with the conclusion or execution of contracts with the website through the interface of the website’s page or through third-party external services available on the Internet;
3. To conclude contracts for the purchase and delivery of the goods/services offered by the website;
4. To receive information about new goods/services offered by the website;
5. To browse the goods/services, their characteristics, prices, and delivery terms;
6. To be informed about their rights arising from the law, primarily through the interface of the website’s page on the Internet;
Article 4: The Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" provides information about the goods/services and guarantees the Users' rights as provided by law, within the framework of good faith, established practices, consumer or commercial law criteria, and conditions.
Article 5: Users conclude the purchase and sale agreement with the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" through the following procedure:
– Visiting the website page;
– Logging into the ordering system on the website;
– Selecting one or more of the goods/services offered on the website and adding them to a shopping list;
– Providing delivery information, confirming with a code, and accepting the terms and conditions;
– Choosing the method and time of payment for the price;
– Order confirmation.
Article 6. (1): The User and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" agree that all statements between them related to the conclusion and execution of the purchase and sale agreement may be made electronically and through electronic statements within the meaning of the Electronic Document and Electronic Signature Act and Article 11 of the Electronic Commerce Act.
Article 7 (1): Consent for recording material
By purchasing a ticket and attending the Leadership Forum: The Art and Lessons of Success, the participant agrees that the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" has the right to take photographs and record video footage during the event. These materials may be used for marketing and advertising purposes, including, but not limited to, publication on websites, social media, advertising campaigns, and other public channels.
(2) Rights to Opt Out of Public Use of Image
If individuals appear in recorded material, participants have the right to submit a written request to opt out of its public use. Such a request must be sent to the email address office@selenabulgaria.com. Upon receiving the request, the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" is obliged to consider it and cease the use of the respective material in the future. However, the organization is not obligated to remove any materials that were already published prior to the submission of the request.
(3) Exceptions and Responsibilities
The exceptions and rules related to personal rights and the use of photographic and video materials are applied in accordance with the applicable legislation, including the Copyright and Related Rights Act and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).
Article 8 (1): The consumer has the right to withdraw from the concluded contract without owing compensation or a penalty and without stating a reason, within 14 days from the date of acceptance of the goods, by using the standard withdrawal form available on the website of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena". Information on how to exercise the right of withdrawal is available on the Association’s website. Consumers may also use another clear statement, which can be recorded on a durable medium.
(2) The right of withdrawal under paragraph 1 does not apply in the following cases:
– for the delivery of goods/services provided according to the consumer's specifications or made to their individual order;
– for the delivery of goods/services which, by their nature, may deteriorate in quality or have a short shelf life
– for the delivery of sealed goods which were unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned due to health protection or hygiene reasons;
– for the delivery of goods which, after being delivered and due to their nature, have been inseparably mixed with other items;
– for the delivery of sealed audio or video recordings, or sealed computer software that has been unsealed after delivery;
– for the delivery of newspapers, magazines, and other periodicals, with the exception of subscription contracts for the delivery of such publications;
(3) When the Provider has not fulfilled its obligations to provide information as required by the Consumer Protection Act, the Consumer has the right to withdraw from the concluded contract within a period of up to one year and 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods. If the information is provided to the consumer within the withdrawal period, that period begins from the date the information is provided. The consumer has the right to submit the withdrawal statement under this article directly to the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" using the standard withdrawal form available on the Association’s website.
(4) In the event that the Consumer has exercised their right to withdraw from a distance contract or a contract concluded outside of a commercial establishment, the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" shall reimburse all amounts received from the Consumer, including delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which it was informed of the Consumer’s decision to withdraw from the contract. The Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" shall refund the received amounts using the same payment method used by the Consumer in the original transaction, unless the Consumer has expressly agreed to the use of another payment method and provided that this does not incur any costs for the Consumer.
(5) The Consumer has the right to cancel the purchased ticket within 14 days from the date of purchase. In this case, the Consumer must notify the Organizer electronically at the email address: office@selenabulgaria.com. If the 14-day period is observed, the Organizer will refund 100% of the amount paid by the Consumer via bank transfer.
(6) When exercising the right of withdrawal, the return shipping costs for the delivered goods are borne by the Consumer, and these costs will be deducted from the amount the Consumer paid under the contract. The Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" is not obligated to reimburse any additional delivery costs incurred if the Consumer has expressly chosen a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option offered by the Association.
(7) The Consumer is obliged to store the goods received from the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" and to ensure the preservation of their quality and safety during the period specified in paragraph 1.
(8) The Consumer may exercise their right to withdraw from the contract with the Provider by submitting a written statement to the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" using the standard withdrawal form available on the website of the online store.
(9) When the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" has not offered to collect the goods itself, it may withhold the refund to the Consumer until it has received the goods back or until the Consumer provides proof that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
(10) The Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" does not offer consumers the option to freely cancel an already purchased good/service and receive a refund for a payment made under an existing contract with a commercial partner of the Association who is offering the specific good/service.
IV. Use of the Website
Article 9
(1) By clicking the confirmation button for the general terms and conditions, the privacy policy, and the cookie policy of https://wed.selenabulgaria.com, the User declares that they are familiar with these general terms, the privacy policy, and the cookie policy, agree with their content, and unconditionally commit to complying with them.
V. Specific Obligations of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena". Consumer Protection
Article 10: The rules of this Section VI of these general terms and conditions apply to Users who, based on the information provided when concluding the purchase and sale agreement or during registration on the website, can be identified as consumers within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Commerce Act, and/or Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011.
Article 11 (1): The main characteristics of the goods/services offered by the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" are specified in the profile of each good/service on the website.
(2) The price of the goods/services, including all applicable taxes, is determined by the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" and is specified in the profile of each good/service on the website.
(3) Users agree that all information required by the Consumer Protection Act may be provided through the interface of the website platform or via email.
Article 12 (1): The Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" provides the goods/services to the consumer after verifying that the requirements for providing information to the consumer under the Consumer Protection Act have been fulfilled.
(2) The Consumer and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" agree that the requirements under paragraph 1 shall be deemed fulfilled if the verification is carried out by a person who, based on the circumstances, can be reasonably assumed to convey the information to the consumer – party to the contract.
VI. Personal Data Protection
Article 13 (1): The Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" takes measures to protect the User’s personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
(2) For security reasons related to the Users' personal data, the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" will send the data only to the email address provided by the Users.
(3) The Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" adopts and publishes a Privacy Policy on its website.
(4) Users agree that the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" has the right to process their personal data necessary for the performance of the contract.
Article 14: At any time, the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" has the right to require the User to identify themselves and verify the authenticity of the actions they have performed on the website.
VII. Amendment and Access to the General Terms and Conditions
Article 15: These general terms and conditions may be amended at any time by the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena".
Article 16: The Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria – "Selena" publishes these general terms and conditions on the website along with all additions and amendments thereto.
